The Saguaro Worm is a hostile mob that spawns in the deserts of the Overworld. Saguaro Worms pose as normal cacti until the player gets within a certain range from one. At that point, it will extend itself and proceed to shoot damaging swarm-like projectiles at the player.

A good way to locate Saguaro Worms is to destroy all the cacti in the area. Any new "cacti" in the area will be Saguaro Worms as cacti cannot respawn.

Trivia

• The Saguaro Worm's name is derived from the Carnegiea gigantea, otherwise known as the Saguaro or Saguaro Cactus.
• Despite being immobile, the Saguaro Worm can be knocked backwards by the player.
